NR-85-95-110 boards are high density calcium silicate insulation boards which are designed specifically for use in aluminum casting and industrial structural insulation, the foundry and furnace industries, and other thermal processing applications.
North Refractories offers several grades and types of technically advanced calcium silicate boards for molten metal applications, these high performance and non-asbestos materials are available in sheets or as precision CNC machined components as per drawings, they are able to withstand a working temperature up to 1000 °C, thus it is really an ideal insulation material for contact with molten metals directly. These boards are in available with a bulk density of 850 or 1000 kg/m³ for an enhanced structural strength and dimensional stability.
