Silicon Carbide Bricks

Silicon Carbide bricks, Silicon Nitride Bonded SiC Brick / SiC brick is made of high quality synthetically made silicon carbide grains (SIC) and selected bonding components, including nitride, Si3N4.

Silicon Carbide brick has the great features like high thermal conductivity and thermal shock resistance, Low thermal expansion coefficient, high corrosion resistance, high bending strength, and excellent resistance to liquid aluminum erosion capability.

SiC brick is particularly ideal for application in high temperature furnaces and in waste incineration plants.

The Si3N4 SiC brick is widely used in as lining bricks of large aluminum electrolytic cell. Using nitride bonded silicon carbide products to enlarge the tank capacity, improve the thermal conductivity, enable rapid cooling and increase the tank production capacity at the same time. On its surface can form alumina and cryolite of eutectic content, which can protect the tank lining work layer, prolong the tank’s service life, therefore, silicon nitride bonded silicon carbide bricks is a welcomed product in aluminum industry.

Si3N4 bonded SiC brick is a highly effective sidewall lining for aluminum reduction cell and is characterized by:
